Our favorite concept stores in Paris.
I look forward to any moment I spend in Paris visiting some of my favorite concept stores, from home decor to stationery shops. Most of these stores are on the right bank of the Seine and can be visited in one day.
1. The Socialite Family
The Socialite Family used to be an online media, "a sample of cool and smart families" that would share intimate portraits and the unique interior decor of Parisians and their vision of home styling and decoration.
Founded by Constance Gennari, the Socialite Family is now not only a media channel but a beautiful homewares, lightings and furniture store based in the elegant Saint-Fiacre Street. Everything is made in Europe, mostly in Italy, Portugal and France.
Must-have: The Gioa Lamp is now iconic and you can find in the coolest Parisian apartments.

2. Merci
Ten minutes walk from Place de la République is Merci, a gorgeous homewares store located alongside Boulevard Beaumarchais. You access it from a lovely cobblestone courtyard where their famous red Fiat 500 is parked. You can spend hours at Merci, discovering the work of local or foreign makers and artisans, trying many chairs, touching all their beautiful linen selection or drinking a coffee downstairs.
Must have: Their branded cotton gauze towels. A true luxury to have in your bathroom.

3. Fleux
Conveniently located near the Pompidou Center, Fleux deserves a visit... or two! The store is divided in 6 spaces and houses pieces of furniture, homewares and decoration, a kids and an eco-responsible section. You'll be able to find some famous brands, such as Hay, Ferm Living or Driade as well as some plants, dried flowers, candles and other home accessories.
Must have: The Arum Table Lamp from Fleux Living and its delicate silhouette, perfect for your bedside table.

4. Papier Tigre
Papier Tigre is a Parisian stationery brand which makes all their notebooks and agendas from recycled paper, at the back of their store. They also sell a selection of desk accessories and lighting to make your home and especially your home office look nicer.
Must have: A made-to-order agenda and a beautiful desk table by Pierre Charpin.

5. Moustache
You may have seen their famous Bold Chair on Instagram. Moustache designs stunning and colorful pieces of furniture and sells them in their organically designed boutique alongside some other designers work such as Inga Sempe's. I love how the different objects displayed in store complement each other in a joyful way. Before your visit, have a stroll along the Canal St Martin.
Must have: The Bold Chair in your favorite color.

Paris is known for its culture and art scene but its retail scene, led by some great independent stores and entrepreneurs, is also thriving and oh so inspiring.
