5 fun facts you didn't know about Capra Designs!
You know us pretty well, but here are a few fun facts and random things you probably didn't know yet!
1- Bianca used to run a small printed textile business with her best friend Anna Sassi before Capra Designs was a thing! Anna collaborated with Capra Designs a few years later on our first (and only) table linen collection.
2- Juliette, who is French, had to take driving lessons to work for Capra Designs as she had never driven on the left side of the road before! Her first drive from Melbourne to Rosebud, where our warehouse is, was the most stressful ride ever!
3- Bianca and Juliette used to have a "cake-meeting" every Monday when Juliette was still living in Melbourne. We made our best decisions eating slices of carrot cake and we took these meetings very seriously.
4- We collaborated with the Plant Society on the Totem Collection with Jason Chongue in 2019. This partnership was amazing and we are proud of the work we delivered! You can still find these beautiful statements pots HERE.
5- The now famous Roma Pot was designed to go with another smaller pot, the Sienna, as a pair. When we received the samples we realised we had the measurements completely wrong and this pot never made it to the production line.
